Here’s a cool video of how to do a 360 degree flip on a skateboard.
You probably need both of these skills before you can attemp this although I find it easier to do this than a kickflip.

DIY Skateboard Game Controller!

Some skateboard/computer genius created a homemade DIY skateboard game controller for Tony Hawk skateboarding game.
This is awesome, I wish they made one for real and so you can do real ollies with the whole bells and whistles. (Yes, that means a fitness trailer too)
The deck uses a Wiimote to capture accelerometer data and send it over Bluetooth to software on the PC. This software then sends emulated keystrokes to the game in response to your movement on the deck. It looks like this was presented at GeekCon, and the creators also hacked some of the game skins to put the presenters’ likenesses in the game. Slick.
