For those of you hardcore skateboarders, there’s good news that this Scarpar motorized skateboard might just do the job for all your off-roading ventures. Holy Schmolly, this gadget is so tight except you can’t really do ollies on it.
Someone really needs to just mass-manufacture and market this guy. Right now, the current estimate for a retail price for a single Scarpar is somewhere in the neighborhood of two or three thousand

Check out this cool time warp video of a skateboard ollie. It’s amazing that the backfoot is never touching the skateboard although the skater admits he “feels” being attached.
Today, let me give you some tips on how to ollie really high.
1. Smoke some buds
2. Now you should be feeling really high so go ollie.
Okay, just kidding, here’s the real version:
1. Keep your front foot nearer to center than normally.
2. When you kick your board with the back foot, hit that thang hella hard! (so your board goes near vertical)
3. Then jump as high as you can while bringing your front foot up the board vertically and tuck your knees to your chest.

The other day I noticed my skater friends had one of these subskate devices. This thing is great for practicing your crazy jumps without risking yourself to injury by jumping into the pool while you ollie 360.
